Maritime Training Resources: Project Stages
Stage 1 - Research of Existing Resources and Development of Document Templates - by June 1 2009
Consultation with RTOs and Publishers to research existing resources. Resources include, a Trainer Guide, Learner Resource and a resource for On Board Supervisors.
The Skills Council will develop Resource Templates as a framework for the resource development. The Skills Council will engage a Resource Developer to develop the content.
Stage 2 - Development of Draft Resources - by February 2010
The Skills Council will develop draft resources including, a Trainer Resource, Learner Resource and On-Board Supervisor Resource. Resources will contain learning and assessment activities to support the delivery of the qualifications.
TLISC will identify a group(s) to trial and review the Resources at Stage 3.
Stage 3 - Trial Review and Finalisation of the Resources - by Jun 2010
Considered changes and improvements are made to the resources. Finalisation of the resources. TLISC will communicate and promote the resource to RTOs and industry.
